Pocket Concierge
A new USFI initiative, the Pocket Concierge program presents hotels with a front desk amenity to enhance guest experience and increase incremental revenue.
The Pocket Concierge is a folded paper insert with credit card-sized outer covers that double as key card holders. The insert folds out to reveal information normally provided by the concierge: hotel extensions, services and maps; restaurant menus; city and transit maps; jogging and walking trails; etc. A powerful tool that allows a hotel to tell its story, it puts a concierge in the pocket of every guest.
The Pocket Concierge offers the chance to cross-sell in-house property products and services, such as dining, golfing, the spa, etc. It can be used to highlight local sightseeing and entertainment options. It also keeps key cards from getting demagnetized. A nifty take-home souvenir, it keeps the brand in the mind of the guest.
Best of all, the Pocket Concierge supports hand-to-hand marketing, considered superior to all other forms of advertising and known to get the best results. It zeroes in on the prime moment—that of front desk check-in—when a hotel can positively impact guest experience and perception.
